Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA, who studied Primary School Teaching at Atatürk University, Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education in 1984, then successfully completed the Department of Forest Industry Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University.Completing the Department of Forestry Industrial Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University in 1988, in first place, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA also did his master's degree in KTÜ. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA, who completed his master's degree in Forest Biology and Wood Material Protection Technology at Karadeniz Technical University in 1991, completed his doctorate in the Department of Wood Science and Technology in Japan / Kyoto University in 1996. During his stay in Japan, he worked with many Nobel laureates. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA has more than 100 SCI publications, more than 20 articles published in national refereed journals, more than 120 papers presented in international scientific meetings and published in proceedings books. He took part in 21 TÜBİTAK and more than 70 other scientific projects and has graduated more than 30 masters and more than 20 doctoral students so far. He is currently teaching 13 doctoral and graduate students. Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA, having held many academic and administrative positions, is currently a full member of the Academy of Sciences of Turkey (TUBA). Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı ALMA is registered in the population of Ağrı province, he is married and has three children.
